Samira Saturday

Samira Saturdays…consists of afternoon strolls and afternoon tea. What a fabulous day it was.

The Palm Court – The Plaza Hotel

Afternoon Tea for Two. I always loved tea at the Plaza. No other place beats the service, ambiance, and tasty finger sandwiches. However, after Rona swept New York, there have been some changes. The finger sandwiches are all on white bread, which they never did before. They used to use an assortment of bread for each sandwich which made them so much more delicious and fun to look at. They were still tasty but not nearly as good as they used to be a couple of years ago. I know I know, why complain about bread? I pay so much attention to every detail! Not to mention quality beats quantity…and that’s another thing- prices have skyrocketed but the quality of food has plummeted. In spite of that, the service and ambiance remain the same (thank the Lord).
